β-type semi-hydrated gypsumis acquisition by heated and dehydration in the gas phase, also known as building gypsum, mainly used for manufacturing gypsum board, gypsum block, or processing into paint plaster after added additive;
α-type semi-hydrated gypsumis obtained by drying after cooking under pressure of saturated steam, also known as high-strength gypsum, primarily used for producing mold in ceramics and pharmaceutical industry.
